Driving up to Big Bear for a short snowboard trip and whoa, WTF is that? Pulled over, took a few pics and watched the #SpaceX Falcon 9 separate from the booster, the booster headed down and then the rest fly away. Feeling a smidge of #teslamotors camaraderie.

Current fire overlaid on all the historical fires sure makes it feel less special.

Hey, let me know if you see any fire trucks. So I asked one of the firefighters where they sleep. Some get hotels plus they have sleeper semi trailers with three high bunks (Sound familiar?) and some crash in tents. There are literally hundreds of firefighters wandering around the surf spot. Down side is they took all the parking, upside is the surf break is awesomely uncrowded.

Namely and most pressing I want to point out that being vertically challenged and lacking opposable thumbs has left myself Death Biter and my associates, Mr. Bones and Pickles in unfair positions preventing us a free and unhindered access to the enclosures in which the treats are currently located.
